In keeping with my one journal entry per year theme...

I had to buy a camera for the study abroad trip I'm taking through my Uni in July [I'm taking a photography class]. It's a Panasonic Lumix FZ18. Two out of the two jews I know tell me that it's a good camera. All I know is I can't take pictures indoors without the flash UNLESS I use a frame rate between 1/4 sec. and 8 sec.

Yesterday I took a few very bad pictures with this new toy of mine. By all means, continue to ignore them. I had this great idea pop into my head: "I'll take some pictures of my brother playing with his new Nike football. They'll be all cool and action-y and have that cool blur effect except for on the focal point. It'll be fucking great!" The results suggest otherwise. I don't foresee myself becoming some sort of popular photo-ologist because I don't have any naked chicks laying around suggestively to take pictures of. But I can't say I'm really bummed about being bad a soul-stealing. My girlfriend and I are just taking the photo class because it involves the least amount of work and the greatest amount of sight seeing. So to you any of you live in the British Isles: if you see a dorky day-walker walking around with a ridiculously hot Venezuelan-looking chick and they have that "tourist" look...That's us!

Sorry to all those just bored enough to watch me on this site. Don't mean to be a hermit and ignore you all. Just busy with the schoolin' and whatnot. Feel free to become angry with my neglecting to give a shit about deviantArt.

In other news, it's too bad that France got their lily-livered frog asses kicked out of the Euro Cup yesterday. Just breaks my heart. I was actually hoping that Holland would throw their game to the Romanians which would have ousted the Italians as well. Oh well, a man can dream.
